Family: He was one of six children born to Elizabeth Caldecott. He married Margaret Ellen Griffiths in 1905 and together they had at least four children

Residence: In 1881 his family were living in Folly Lane, Whitchurch. At the time of the 1891 Census he resided at St Chad Depot, King’s Shropshire Light Infantry, Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

Employment: He was a groom when he enlisted

Death: 1956 in Walton Hospital, Liverpool, Lancashire aged 83. Arthur was cremated on 23rd January that same year
