Born: 3 December 1871 in Whitewell (Iscoyd), Flintshire, Wales and baptised 10 January 1872 in Whitchurch, Shropshire.
Family: He was one of twelve children born to Thomas Taylor Chubb and his wife Elizabeth. He married Lucy Margaret Lloyd in 1911 and together they had one child.
Residence: In 1881 he was living at 80 Barkhill, Whitchurch with his parents and siblings; by 1891 he was boarding at 7 High Street, Whitchurch; this was the premises of W. Pearson, draper, to whom Thomas was apprenticed. In 1901 he was on military service in South Africa

Death: 2nd February 1949 in Llangollen, Denbighshire, Wales, aged 77
