Family: He was one of four children born to David and Alice Davies (nee Jones). He married Mary Hames after the Boer War and had three children.
Residence: In 1881 he was living in Wallop, Westbury, Shropshire with his parents and siblings; by 1891 they had moved to Guy Lane, Waverton, Cheshire. In 1901 he was serving in South Africa. By 1906 Thomas and his family were residing in Ormskirk, Lancashire
Employment: He was a Post Office clerk when he enlisted.
Died: Two possible dates were found in Chester. These were December 1945 or March 1951
