Family: He was one of three children born to Charles and Jane Howell (nee Morris). He married Charlotte Huddlestone in 1906 and together they had one child named Richard Eric.
Residence: On the 1881 and 1891 Census he was living in Bolton-by-Bowland, Clitheroe, Yorkshire (Lancashire) with his parents and siblings. After the Boer War he emigrated to Australia
Employment: He was a labourer when he enlisted..
Death: 1949 in Manjimup, Western Australia, aged 71

Harry’s wife Charlotte died in 1922 and Harry and his son sailed to Australia on 4 January 1924
