Born: In 1862 in Bradford, Yorkshire.
Family: He was one of five children born to John Barnett Joyce and Ellen Roberta (nee Judd). Arthur married Jessie Powell on 8 April 1887 in Whitchurch, Shropshire and together they had six children.
Residence: In 1871 and 1881 he was living with his parents and siblings in St. John’s Street, Whitchurch. From at least 1891 onwards until his death he lived at The Beeches, Chester Road, Whitchurch.
Employment: He was a turret clock manufacturer in the family business
Death: 29 July 1911 in Whitchurch, aged 49, and was buried on 1 August the same year in Whitchurch cemetery..
